new case added to the airdeano family - Fractal Design Arc Midi

this past weekend i was cleaning and re-organizing my CM nVidia 690 and was happy-dappy rigging,

cleaning and tweaking and said i need a newer style case. so i rushed to get it all back together and

went shopping. well, i did it.. modding for others i finally had pulled the trigger and ordered the

Fractal Designs Arc Midi. enough with old school (for now) time to join the newer ranks. and on a

plus, parts availability in the states seem to be helpful. i also got some front, top and side panels

(for modding purposes, of course). now to be my own customer.. fancy-dancy fanage, lighting and

w i n d o w in the side panel (NON-FAN installable!!) i'll have htese extra panels to 'sperment with

on color changes, quirky plexi ideas and case wierdness.. hopefully an excersise in straight case

tweaks (i hope). more to come.

you know, ive been thinkin' and its been done, replace whole steel panel with cut/tinted glass (without a fan mount uggghh!!)!

eteched/sandblasted graphic and fancy ghost hardware to boot.

just got shipping confirmation on case and parts for 06/05 Tuesday (Adult Signature Required) yeah, right... so for the weekend

a case transplant (all stock) with no add-ins and documnet changes with delta temps and fan treatments, maximum air heatsink

system, simple water solutions, and custom water loop. use it as a comparo for experimental designs and functions.
