Looking to create a new authoring rig. Mostly for 3D and graphics heavy work.

Currently have:
processor: i7-3930K
mobo: Asus Rampage 4 Extreme
gc: Radeon FirePro v5900
RAM: Corsair Vengence x32 GB
psu: Corsair AX850
cooling: Corsair h100i
ssd: 1x Corsair Neutron 256GB, 2x OCZ 256GB
case: Corsair 800D

For the new build, I'm pretty open,
- need a workstation gc, and have eyes on the Radeon FirePro 7900.
- would like to have 64GB of RAM if possible (affordable).

The machine described above will not be decommissioned and will still be in use. I've have been very happy with it. The new build will work along side this one. Maybe set up a little render cluster. Basically, trying to create a second rig, and have at least one rig outperform the current build. Not opposed to dropping the v7900 and 32GB more into the i3930k/Rampage 4, and using the v5900 in the new build.

Have $2500 budgeted.

Curious if going down the LGA 2011-v3/DDR4/x99 route makes sense here ?

Any thoughts / advice greatly appreciated.

EDIT: (more info)
- Located in New York, NY
- Monitors/mouse/etc not included in budget.
- no plans for overclocking.
- running Windows
