New build advice

I know it doesn't make any difference, but I always expect it to be there, then have to scroll down further.

Can you tell I'm bored at the moment?

I know it makes no real difference, but when I'm looking for the New Build forum, I always expect it to be with the project logs, as if you're researching a build on here, your next step will probably be to log it here as well.

Doesn't matter at all, but just seemed like a good suggestion.

I think would would be cool is a monthly build section of recomended systems from Tom like you see in many magazines but once the magazine is released the build section is some times already out of date.

Like

Low end, mid end, high end Gaming Rig.

Low end, mid end, high end workstation Rig.

High end water cooled rig.

the problem with that is drasil is how quick things change, which is why i think its best being done on the fly. whats good at the start of the month can change almost everyday as retailers do weekly specials and one off deals and such which bring high end parts into a low end budget.

as it stands its not going to change much till the next round of cpu come out with amd being the bang per buck and intel taking the perfomance crown then with the rest of the build falling in around that but as you know the devil is in the detail and thats where picking up the great deals that day/week can really help out if your building to a set budget.
