new board

m getting a new board this one to be exact Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4 iX38 can anyone give ma a heads up on what it is like is to replace the P5KC which is one crap board here is the link to it

Hi mate,

Well replacing the motherboard wont be a problem at all, i cant think of any heads up at this point ... Make sure you clean the HS while your at it!!

By the way, I can see you have a good Nvidia graphic card and wont probably use the Crossfire feature which this X38 board has, basiclly your paying for something you will hardly use! So i would recommend a P35 instead:

1- Cheaper!

2- Same or more features!

3- Much better at overclocking!

I have the following:

Abit IP35 PRO

Which is 10 pounds cheaper and gives you Lot more featues ( Remember this is kind of a expensive P35 board )

If you prefer gigabyte then get something like:

GA-P35-DQ6
