I got my trunking (similiar to Kempz) a BnQ.. quite cheap really.

Cool B&Q

Hopefully gonna go from 5.1 to that good stereo setup in july this year :yumyum:

That would make a few less cables too :D

just got my amp installed and working, really is amazing watching movies in TrueHD sound. just need to tidy cables and upgrade to QED hdmi's

Cool, and yes True HD and DTS MA HD are good.

Do keep your worklog to your own thread tho :)

Right time for another update!

Still have the desk (it was made by my missus's Dad as a B-Day present when she was little so it's a permanent fixture!), but have now re-organised the room a little and got down to Ikea too. Plan is to start adding a little red to the room to go with the fronts of the cabinet.

Also wired up my Panasonic DMP-BD35 with a LAN cable and aside from a big pile of wires on the floor, cabling is pretty neat :) BD35 is off at Peter Tyson to diagnose and (hopefully) fix a problem with clicking whilst playing CDs.

Improvement?

Thanks mate - I like it :) It was quite hard work but hopefully it's worth it :D

It's a mini-Henry I got for Chrimbo. Not amazingly good hoover, but it looks cool and sweeps up the crumbs when needed :p

I am just waiting for Cambridge Audio to update their AV amps to support HDMI 1.3 then I will be setting up my system.

Gotta build my htpc first, any advice on a case? Just want a basic one, with vdf/lcd.

My girlfriend and her mate both bought each other one. They are sooo funny.

I love the slouchy sofa you have there

must be great to snuggle up on and watch a film

im trunking all my wires and painting etc. come summer and i will be looking at your setup for inspiration

where did u get those random pics on the wall - looks very subtle

Thanks mate. The futon is OK for comfort (Ikea ~ £100), the pillows make it pretty comfortable. We need it to be a bed quite a lot as we have people stay round here quite often and the missus insists that this is our second bedroom, not just my AV room :p Still, it's good to sit in here with the missus and will be even better when I get my BD35 back!

Trucking is all good. There's loads of choice out there but I went for the cheap option and it looks pretty decent. The good thing is that you just cut a hole in it if you want to join it or have a lead come out before the end of the trunk :)

The pics on the wall are banksy-esque prints from my local shopping mall but I believe most poster/art-esque shops have something of that ilk. They look really nice on the wall and add a nice splash of colour :)
