Tbh the only people who even know what the witcher is IS gamers. So by trying to expand your audience for the sake of it is just a bad business move. You're putting actor names and money before the core necessities the show needs. Considering gamers are amongst the most vocal critics in the world, that spells bad news for the show runners.

History has proven that while books have transitioned to movies, and/or leading to good games... ahem "witcher"

It has in most cases been a total flop transitioning from Games to the big screen.
I had such excited hopes but the cast now leaves me in doubt whether it will survive season 1.

ah well.. we can right it off as much as we want. It could end up being good.

I think that is what they did tbh. Like literally flipped their fan base.

Yes I am currently in the same mindset as you are. I doubt anything will change that too.

I guess beauty is still in the eyes of the beholder. She looks like a plane Jane to me. I see nothing special.

But I agree with Greenback. Was never a big fan of Doctor Who except first couple of seasons with Christopher Ecclestone. But what they have done now is hilarious, in a bad way.
