The Witcher Season 4 will have a new Geralt - Henry Cavill is leaving the show

The very recent announcement that he will return as Superman seems awfully close to this news, especially given the release of Black Adam and how Dwayne Johnson was driven to have his Black Adam fight Cavill's Superman. I even think they have the same agent.

Considering Cavil and the writers of the show came to blows many times due to the writers being quite outspoken about hating the books and games and Cavill being a fan of them I'm not surprised to see him leave... but Hemsworth ? He is a terrible actor and doesn't have the rugged chiseled look for Geralt.

People have been petitioning to have Mads Mikkelsen as Geralt. His voice alone could fit the part well. Also consider the aged look given Geralt has been fighting a few years now.

Mads Mikkelsen would be amazing in this role, Sadly I don't think it will happen, We're getting a b-movie actor.

The issue I had with Cavil was his size. Geralt is not a large person. He's tall and fit, not massive muscles like Cavil.

Other than that he played the part well given his script. Couldn't ask for much more honestly

That all said, Liam? Lol the f are they thinking?

I think Liam Hemsworth is a decent enough actor. He's not particularly special, but he's capable. It's quite possible they're giving him the role, not because of his acting chops or his physical features, but because he's an established name, has the schedule free and will commit to as many seasons as Netflix will film, is reliable, and quite possibly has the right contacts and influencers pulling the strings. He also possibly accepted a reduced wage in place of Cavill in order to seal the deal.

Id say its to claw back the money paid to Cavill. He does not come cheap. I have yet to see a single movie that Liam acts well in.
