Netflix and Wi-Fi

I'm sure with fibre it says no slow downs during peak times. I tested ten mins later and got 39mbps. Sky need to sort it. I've emailed them.
If only ISP's would care that much.
Check out their forums and you'll see plenty people on Sky Fibre complaining about slow speeds during peak times.

I'll take a look, argh I hope not though.

It never used to be like this which is whats so annoying. I bet I can't leave my contract either without paying the remaining amount of months (till' December). Not pleased with this, downloading games is going to take an age again at this rate.

I'm sure if you are not getting the service you signed up for ie: "capping your speed during peak times when they say they don't" they have in fact gone against there own policy, which would mean you are able to cancel the contract with no penalties - just check their policy on it.

I had a issue with virgin when I first signed upto them (50Mb and only getting 2-4Mb for 8 weeks) I told them that I wasn't getting the service I signed upto and would cancel and low and behold sorted in less than 24hrs.

Just checked my e-mails but not heard anything, no news is good news. Thought I might of just had a link by now on how to get the most out of your connection. I was quite nasty in the e-mail I sent though and told them to give me an update on whats going on and do not send information on how to get the most out of the connection because everything is set up right!

I know Tripp called them about his and they just f'ed him off with "Everything looks fine".

Edit: Had an email and apparently they tested the line and it's fine. It does seem okay today although Netflix and YouTube shall be the test.

Just a quick one, has anyone had issues lately connecting to the iTunes store and just getting HTTP error 1.1? Not sure if this is router/Wi-Fi related again or if it's an Apple issue?

Edit: I've just bought the Sky Wireless Booster for £20 so here's hoping it solves the issue, although to be honest, I don't see why it's like this, Netflix used to run fine before...

I've just seen the router has 'Smart Technology' and is supposed to automatically switch channels by itself if there is interference...
