Neoprene for Amplifier!

I need some chunky neoprene, or just a bit I can stack up.

It's not for LN2 or anything like that, but for my amplifier 8)

I have it placed on top of the sub which isn't good, but I'm stuck for space and could do with something to absorb the vibrations so that they don't carry through to the amplifier - so neoprene came to mind!

Anyone have any suggstions or know anywhere I can get something? :?

Use some mousemats? Cheaper than big chucks of neoprene, just layer them if you need it thicker

You can buy felt pads very cheep which will absorb the vibrations you are getting from the sub speaker, they only need to be put in each corner of the amp and the best thing is you can buy about 10-20 of them for a couple of ponds

I use casters with squash balls in side on granite slabs as isolation plinths. Admittedly I don't have equipment on subs but it could do the trick.

I imagine that the squash balls would would quite well as they would locate in the centre of the amplifier feet - I'll investigate!
