I am looking for a PSU (Preferably Modular) for my new pc build.

Calculated wattage and my max wattage is around 450 so thinking a 650w would give a nice bit of head room.

I read a lot about Japanese capacitors so assume these are the best so trying to find a decent PSU that not going to cost me an arm and leg.

This will only run a few hours a week when I get chance to game.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as so many out there to choose from.

I was looking at the "EVGA 650 BQ 650W Power Supply 80 Plus Bronze" this is £65 but someone said these EVGA are not very good.

Was recommended XFX TS 650W Power Supply 80 Plus Bronze even though it is not modular.

Definitely don't get an XFX..

After my recent review, I can definitely recommend the latest Corsair RMi series PSU's. Mine doesn't even spin up the fan of my 1000w one most of the time, and when it does it's plenty quiet :)

You can pickup their 650w model for around 110 ish I believe. I'd perhaps recommend a notch higher maybe the 850 so as when you're idling the fan stays off :)

Thanks for you comment.

Can I ask what is wrong with the XFX as they are made by Seasonic I believe.

I am not willing to Pay over £100 for a PSU for a second pc that will be used a few times a week at most.

This is the worst thing about the internet there are so many opinions and and everyone has a different one.

I think I will look around and find one that has good reviews and just go for that, PSU have good warranty periods so I am covered that way.
