Hi guys, i am torn between two Lian Li cases.
V600
A05
Both take atx mainboards, atx power supplies but are smaller than the average tower. They are both aluminium and would both suit going to lans.
I am not sure if i will watercool, therefore the restricted height of the cpu cooler of the v600 is a definate disadvantage. However, i prefer it's looks, and it carries 2 more 5.25" drive bays. It does not have a rear fan, whereas the pc-a05 has both a rear fan and "unlimited" cpu cooler height. However, the a05 is known to have a heat pocket issue at the top rear, and although 2 120mm blowholes are not difficult to cut, i am not too keen on doing it myself, adding £20 to the cost of the case.
If I was to be going watercooling i would say the a05 is the better option, but the v600 is better looking and slightly smaller.
If anyone has one of these cases and would like to tell me about their experiences with them i'd be most greatful.
thanks.
