hi guys, i own a fx8320 and in hwmonitor the temperatures are very low

on idle i got 6 degrees (on package)

on full load (5hs prime95) i got 30 degrees (on package)

BIOS temps are 20/21 degrees

i'm using a corsair h60 and my fx is at stock speeds..

it's normal??

pd. the ambient temp is at 22/23 degrees

When you say 6 degrees, I'm assuming that's delta temp?

If so, that's fine.
If not, then there's obviously an issue with the sensors on the board, but that's quite common for AMD tbh.

Temps look pretty cool..
CPUs at stock with the standard cooler, and their temps will be fine.

Given your h60 cooler, I think its time for an OC.

Don't go by BIOS temp, HWMonitor is great and does a great job.

Grab IntelBurnTest (faster stress tester than Prime95) and start an OC, I cant seem to find a max temp for the 8320, but safely keep it at or below 60c.

(not sure what the 6c is all about,)

it's the value that hwmonitor shows

i don't know if it is possible, i knew that the minimun temp a cooler can give it's the ambient one.. it's is correct?

thank's!

lol - yeah it is...
HWmonitor is wrong then. Try a different program like OCCT

lol?? i'm glad you answer.. my english suck's.. i've tried speedfan, cputemp, coretemp, aida64, everest, occt.. all with the same value..

it is a problem with my mobo?? or with the cpu?

AMD displays temps VERY differently. with HWmonitor you dont want it to go above 50/60c max load.

Your kit is fine btw. Your temps are normal.

Displays temps differently?
I know it takes the readings from the motherboard socket itself, but surely doesn't give a different temperature reading?

My friends old Q6600 system does something similar, reading very low temps. If you were to take the temps as a delta then they'd be "ok" if a little on the warm side. Despite my attempted explaination of this, he prefers to quote his super low "actual" temps, rather than accept that temps below ambient are unpossible with basic air cooling :)

Scoob.
