Need help with drive config

Hello all,
Im going to get two 480GB SSD's for my next build and i dont wont to put them in a raid were i loose trim. But i was just wondering if i could put two ssds together to look like one drive in the OS without using RAID 0 so that it just looks like one big drive but the data isnt split.

I dont think theres any way to do that without RAID. why do you need 960gb of ssd though? surely if something is that big you could just use 1 ssd and a storage drive?

Set up a SPAN with the drives.

well some ssd's now come with raid support so it shouldnt be an issue locating one. Now with that said Garbage Collection or (GC) is basically raid trim. There is no reason to worry about raiding ssd's that have GC on them. I've run 2 64GB C300's in raid for well over a year with ZERO issues. so dont worry about not having trim.
