i ALWAYS DREAMED IN STABLE OVERCLOCK, And realized that no better than asking the great overclockers @overclock3d forums

My system as follows

CPU :Intel E7200+sunbeam core-contact freezer+tx2

MB :MSI p35 platinum

RAm :2x2gb (Kingston HyperX 1066)

VGA :Gigabyte HD4850/w Zalman/512 mb

PoweSupply :Asus 550W Extreem

Case :Antec 900

HDD :2xWD 160GB sata+ 1xWD80GB Pata

Can my system achieve a decent OC, Please need your help cause im new at overclocking but ive learned much from u and i think i can implement your instractions

I'm sure you mean the P35 Platinum. In that case I can help you as I have exactly the same motherboard.

You will be able to get a decent overclock as long as your cooler is up to the job.

Right, to start! Up your FSB in small amounts, I'd recommend 20 a time and keep going until it will not boot any more.

First of all, you have to download Orthos from here and CoreTemp from [URL="http://www.alcpu.com/coretemp/]here[/URL]

First of all, check your maximum temperatures you're getting at the moment. Anything below 55 on stock is acceptable and should give you a decent overclockability. Watch your temperatures though, they do rise fast if you don't have a decent cooler!

Once you've reached a certain speed, run Orthos for 2+ hours to check if it is stable. Do NOT do anything in the mean time, and keep an eye on your temperatures throughout it for the first couple of minutes.

One important note: do NOT go above 1.35v, it is recommended by Intel to stay below that (actually 1.38 but keep to 1.35 to make things easy) and see how far you're willing to push your chip. A 3.2GHz overclock should be VERY easy to achieve on those chips.

Im deeply enjoyed reading your reply, I tried raising up fsb and reached 466x8.5= 3959 @vcore 1.3125 but i didnt try using these programs you sent . Now i will download and i will keep you up2date

thanks so much for helping me ,cause i experienced a very big boost in performance

what about the dram timing and should i leave it at 1:1 cause it decreased to 931 and i have an 1066 ram

my ram is 1066MHz, DDR2, Non-ECC, CL7 (7-7-7-20),

I think that your best bet is to find the max for each component. Motherboard, cpu and ram.

that is exactly what i ask for but i need it stable for every day use need instructions for adjusting dram timing and my previouse setting didnt go well with stablity after running occt for 1 hour

should i decrease my fsb with increase @ vcore or what!!!

ii wonder if i can get an exact setting or the way to do it for a stable and decent oc or i must use it at default settings untill i buy a new motherboard???
