what would you guys say its the best upgrade from my current card??? you guys think i should take into account the option of crossfiring in the future? My mobo is just crossfire. I have a single 1680x1050 monitor, im starting to feel slowdowns in some intensive games, so i think i waited long enough for my next upgrade

I want to know your opinions regarding this topic, aby help will be highly appreciated!!

Before getting a new GPU I would invest in a better monitor. It makes a world of difference going from 1680x1050 to 1920x1080. THEN I would get another video card, maybe a 7870.

I was thinking between the 7950, gtx 670, and saving a bit more and getting a 7970, but taxes were i live increase the price i pay for hardware a lot, the gigabyte 7950 with the core at 900 at $350 is an attractive buy for my budget and circumstances, but i want to know opinions from other people

Go 7870/7950/670. All great cards. Personally I went twin 7950 and overclocked them. Massive performance which equals or beats the 7970/680 for less.

Kinda depends on whether you want to overclock. AMD cards are really awesome at this (Nvidia cards cheat by having turbo functions so appear to be better at stock vs AMD cards)

I had 2x 5850s and have recently swapped for 2x7950s. The difference is roughly double! the Vram advantage is definitely worth getting.

I think the 7870/7950/670 are the pick of the cards at the moment. Get what you can afford. You won't be disappointed!
