Hi there OC3D!
With my birthday in about 2,5 weeks, I got an early present from my aunt in Australia, as she was in the Netherlands this week. An coupon worth €85 which I can spend at my local game store. I'm bound between these choices:
-Borderlands 2
-Black Ops 2 (don't think this one will be my choice)
-Assassin's Creed 3 (Don't really like the idea of being in the forest most of the times, but I LOVE the AC series).
-Hitman Absolution (Nice, but it would be even better if it was a free roaming game :p)
-Any suggestions from you guys

No matter what happens, I'll buy Skyrim together with one of these games.
Thanks in advance.
-AverageNinja.
EDIT: Games will be bought on the Playstation 3.

If you have someone else to play with, a friend that you get along with, Borderlands 2 is the best choice.

If not, and you love the AC series, i'd say give it a go. I've heard good things about it, i'm just not a fan of the series myself.

Most of my friends with a PS3 play Black Ops 2. Yuck...

Sleeping Dogs is an awesome game, and includes the voice acting of lots of hollywood actors. Lucy Lui has a pretty good part. The story is excellent, like watching a really good movie. Gameplay is similar to GTA 4 or Saints Row, without the heavy focus on guns, instead focusing more on martial arts. The martial arts is more similar to Batman Arkum City. It's available on dvd or downloadable off Steam.

Well, if you haven't truly played the first, and your friends won't play with you, i'd look at something else.
True, I think I'll buy Borderlands2 later and look at something else. I'm currently really torn between AC 3 and hitman. I alrready have sleeping dogs on ps3. Leaning towards AC3. Its my favourite game-series

Unless your willing to try and get ''silent assassin'' or whatever the equivalent is in this game (Complete the mission without being seen), Hitman's going to be quite a short experience. I'd get AC3 if I were you, since you like the whole series... Coming from a long time Hitman fan...

I love the hitman series as well. Always used to restart checkpoints a hundred times to make a plan and make everything look like an accident. I did like to kill my targets though. But I always enjoyed that style of gameplay. Killing, but silent and with everything looking like an accident.
Though I think I'll buy AC3 first, and get Hitman a few weeks after, when my real birthday is :)

As said, I already have Sleeping Dogs :p
P.S. Josh, I still have €20 worth of games in the playstation store. Might as well buy borderlands 1 first :D
