Hi, i have troubles getting good fps in World of Warcraft mists of pandaria and i was hoping that someone could help me.
At the momen i am running high preset and i get up to 140fps in the wild with noone around me, but when i get near mobs and other people while questing i only get around 60-70fps and by the time i arrive in Stormwind or while i am in a raid i am down to 10-22 fps.
I would like to be able to run everything on ultra with 60+ fps in 25man raids and i am looking for an advice concerning what i could change to my system in order to achive that.
My resoultion is 1920,1080
My specs are:

CPU: FX8120 at 4,2
GPU: HD7870 at 1050
Mainboard: gigabyte 970-ud3
RAM: 8gb corsair XMS3 1333 (single stick)
1080p Monitor
samsung 840 120gb ssd

Thanks in advance :)

No but seriously dude, why post in this part of the forum? Wow is a pathetically bad game and the only way to reach high fps is rediculous singlecore performance, so youll need an Intel atm.

Download an On screen display for msi afterburner / Evga precision X and check your gpu usage, if that ever hits 100% when you have low fps youll have to upgrade graphics or lower graphics settings, but I doubt that. If your CPU usage doesnt hit 100% in low fps, then your 1333mhz memory is the culprit, but I doubt that too tbh.

Pretty much +1 on what Charliew87 said. I have been a Hardcore Progression Raider on WoW since vanilla. 1 quick question tho: Are you running the game in DX9 or DX11?

I game wow my self, drop from ultra and one down. You will see the fps going up to around 40 to 50 in raid. And that is on 25 man, i never see lower then 60 in 25 man LFR. And i play on a Apple screen "25xx * 14xx"

But that is also whit a 7970.

I would also be inclined to agree with this as well. Ultra may look flashy and nice but I will also say that I would never use ultra in raids. All you really need is Projected Textures and mid-range particle density. IMO anything more than that may effect you're ability to focus on or recognize certain vital mechanics to the encounters. Unless you're just in it for gear, and if that's the case disregard this and do whatever.

I have my on Ultra all the time, but i do like to see on the things when i have the time :P "play druid tank" - But my raids is also 10 mans, so 100 fps all the time ;)

- But when you a dps in 25 mans raid, you need to drop down one or two. To have the best fps so you can max the dps out or hps..
