Okay well recently I have been playing games and my computer will random shut down.

This is usually when I am playing League of Legends. The screen goes black and the fan on the graphic card ramped up to 100%. I could still hear and speak to the people I was talking to on skype. After resetting my computer the system has now put my hexa-core to a quad-core and the speaker made a Beep followed by three quick beeps. This according to the manual means no VGA detected?

Do you think there is a problem with the Graphics Card because that is what everything is suggesting. Or could there be a problem with the connection between the VGA and the mobo?

I have no overclocked my graphics card and it runs at extremely lows temps so there is no over-heating what-so-ever.

I am thinking of calling ebuyer tomorrow and asking for a replacement.

Please give your thoughts and tell me if anything else could have caused this failure multiple times?

Thank you

Try taking it out giving it a clean and see if that does anything, apart from that it looks like getting a new GPU.

Hi,

Does the system boot to windows now and have you checked Display adapters in Device Manager? if you have or can ceck and post the result please.

Otherwise I think you should definatley get a different card or replacement.

I've bought graphics cards from Ebuyer that had faults and Ebuyer Custome Service wanted to replace it, then I said I want a different card. Sometimes they said that a replacement is only possible so I gave information on why I wanted a different card and they decided to give me a different card and refund the difference

I took the graphics card out and cleaned. Along with the whole comp to make sure, took the power cables out and then back in.

Gonna play some games and monitor the temps as I do.

I will get back to you if it fails again.

Also I earlier deleted all drivers and re-installed to make sure there was no issue there.

Monitor your temps and try using a different graphics card if you have one lying around just to make sure it isn't something else. Could also be the RAM try testing out each stick.

Don't have another graphics card laughing around

I have not been enabling or disabling Crossfire if that is what you are saying :S

I have not flashed my bios at all.

Also I have been monitoring my temps and they have not gone by 53 degrees on either the GPU or CPU.

So I doubt that is the issue.

I am about to try the graphics card out again with a few games of LoL.

Re-install the same BIOS maby as I've read using a different BIOS can VOID warranty or maby Powercolor uses a custom BIOS. While the problem isn't verified it's best to check the warranty

Okay so I have been using it for a several hours today playing League of Legends and a little bit of Black Ops.

I think that taking it out and cleaning it all may have done the trick.

Too early to say, need to test it tomorrow more. Just to make sure

Try running FurMark, if that doesn't cause any problems I would think that you are fine. Make sure that everything is working proper before your time to return the card is up.

lmao yeah League of Legends just has a weird frame rate, jumps at the start for me sometimes.

But I can play Dawn of War II perfectly fine, hmmmmm.
