i have a chance to get this for £20, is this a good enough board

It'd work fine (assuming its new), it'd probably be stable (given that foxcon make the components that go on the board) and would handle mild overclocks.

never explained much, i game and i intend on having a amd x2 6000+ and 2 gig ddr2 with a 8800GTs XXX on it, or should i just shell out for better like ASUS or ABIT

If youre not overclocking much i cant see why you wouldnt go for it. Foxconn boards are decent, you just cant guarantee much room for clocking
