My monitor has died, it was a 29 inch wide screen 2560x1080 and I'll be honest with you I hated it specially when web browsing and on YouTube there was alot of wasted space... And some games wouldn't work well at that res.

I only need 1 thing in a monitor
No external power brick.. Prefer the 3 pin connection (kettle plug)
I am on a bit of a budget say £300 max.. I was looking at 3x24 inch 1080p monitors by Aoc but single monitor would be better

As for my graphics card I am In the process of building a new pc... Either amd 480 8gb model or wait for vega
Nvidia gtx 1070....unsure if I can stretch to a 1080....

Why do you want triple? For gaming or productivity? 24" 16:9 or 29" 21:9 will show pretty much exactly the same size youtube clip - you just see more black on the sides of the ultrawide.

I have 3x24s in surround with an extra 24 overhead panel for looking at crap while I game. Temps/Telemetry/youtube/fb/forums etc

The reason I ask is that for the price of 3 24" panels you could get a pretty decent 27" or even larger at QHD.

Cheers didn't know that would happen with triple monitors.... I still with single monitor than..... I do hate the black bars

But are you primary a gamer?

But imo the priority is first, high refresh rate (120hz or above)
Then size. And when you are used to 29", i think it would be bad to go down in size = 27" would be the way to go. I personally wanted G-sync, as i removes a lot of problems. But it's way out of your budget.

I just went from 24" to 27" and form 1080p to 1440p
WHAT a difference :) The jump from 92ppi to 109ppi might not sound lige much, but it looks way better.

But the 300£ is a "problem. Maybe stay with the 480, and a freesync monitor?
27" 1440p and Gsync is 600£
