Need a new case with a bit more room, suggestions?

Ok guys, I was going to attempt to do some cable management tonight but I really don't want to spend the time on this particular case. I need to get something with just a tad bit more room, doesn't need to be full on PC-75 style, but something between that and what I have now (CM Centurion). I'd like to stay under $150, and would prefer a black aluminum case.

So pretty much what it boils down to is a LiLi or a Silverstone in black, and under $150. What do you lot recommend with those given parameters?

www.xoxide.com has ever case from every manufacturer and is a good palce to peruse :)

Hmmmm, actually that might be about perfect Mike. Thx for the link to that one, i'll deffo keep that one in mind.

NoL suggested the G70, but that sucker is like mad huge, and above my price point of $150. The Silverstone is big, has a case windows, and comes in under that point. That's what I'm eyeballin' right now.

Ok so I was looking at the TJ-06 again, and there is one major problem I see with it... And that is what PSU has a long enough ATX & PCI-E cables to reach that board??? I know for certain that my BFG's cables aren't long enough, and I don't see in the pictures where Silverstone has included extension cables. What gives?

Watch out for the Silverstone aluminium cases in black. I was disappointed to find that my TJ03 was actually powder coated black aluminium rather than being annodised. Not sure about the TJ06 tho - but it wouldn't surprise me.

Rgr that, tx for the heads up. What's up with case prices these days anyhow? I've found that even crappy cases have madly bloated prices. Almost making me glad I bought my Centurion for like $40.

Truth be told, this is the case that I really want: http://www.xoxide.com/lian-li-pc-343b-case.html

Yeah thats a beauty. Wouldnt mind one myself - would look sweet re-annodised in a cool colour.

I've also been eyeballing the V1000B which is a bit above what I was willing to pay for a case but I like the layout, with the hidden hard drive & psu area. Tiz a great case for good clean cable management, looks to have plenty of space as well. I might be looking in to that.

Yeah my buddy has an annodising shop over on the west coast who does paintball markers. He did one of mine in an awesome rasta fade. I wonder if he would do a case for me :yumyum:

There`s an electro-plating place here in Cardiff, I asked them years ago if they would/could anodize car wheels, and they could.

How u fancy a gold case Frag ? :p

G70 is my vote if ur gonna get the v1000. cheaper and yes it huge h/e bigger the better.

v1000 has a better layout however, which is a definate plus in my book :)

I would suggest

Ultra Aluminus

CoolerMaster Stacker 830 STC-T01

Silverstone SST-TJ05B-X

Ultra Aluminus can be found for under a $100. It was $30 @ Radioshack and Tigerdirect has a sale on them alot. Stacker 830 can be found for under $150 at newegg, and the SilverStone is under $150 at newegg as well.

Thx for the suggestions Shift, much appreciated.

At this point I think I might stick with what I have as I have it sorted pretty well now. I really need to start curbing the urge to spend money, it's driving me broke again.

Are the details afaik, I haven`t passed that area of Newport Road in a while. When I went in there personally several years ago, they were very friendly peoples. Give em a call m8, if u get a price or whatever, post it as they may have some future business, via forum prehaps ;) Damn easy way to sex up a pc case if they agree to do it.

Almost seem to me as if - u got it in metal, they`ll plate it.
