Need a gfx card for under £100

Hi there guys. I am in the process of revamping an old PC for my mum. At the moment it has an ATI 4850 which unfortunately has died a rather sad death.

What can I shove in it to make it work? It needs to be able to run CSS for as cheap as possible.

Gts450? Or if you can find one for under £100 then a gtx460 is the way to go.

It's up to you but the best cards in the £100 range are AMD. There is the 6770 and GTX 450 for just under £100 but the 6770 is the better card and for just over your budget, about £110 there is the GTX 550 TI but for the same price you can get a 6790 which is better. If you prefer Nvidia though go for the 550 Ti or the 450.

EDIT: What daniSAUR said actually I didn't realize you could pick the 460 up for that cheap but looking around you can get a 460 or a 6850 for around £120 but again the 6850 is the better card.

What about a GTX460 for £98 you will be able to run most games maxed out.

I would just like to add, before buying a card consider whether your current psu can handle it, check it's power requirements and use something like a psu calculator.

Single GPUs can run on at least 450w, if not a little less (like 430w).
