So after putting up a thread on here not too long ago and listening to advice, looking at other sources for info and just streamlining things i've come down to what i think is a pretty solid list of parts for the rig.
Right now, the only thing i'm unsure of is the processor. I'm aware that it can run pretty hot and alot of people raise their eyebrows at me when i say "3770K".
Dealing with a game engine, doing 3D design aswel as heavily using the Adobe packages is the purpose here, i think 3770K is justified but i'm totally open to anyone giving me a good reason to drop it down (even though price wise, i don't see a huge jump).
So here's the list and i'd appreciate absolutely any feedback, i'm very open minded:
[CASE]: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Carbine Mid Tower Case
[CPU]: Intel Core i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770K (3.5GHz) 8MB Cache
[CPU COOLING]: Corsair H100 Hydro Series Extreme Performance
[FANS]: Corsair TWIN PACK AF120 Quiet Edition Case Fans 120mm (attached to the hard drive cage, someone suggested it to me)
Corsair TWIN PACK SP120 Quiet Edition Case Fans 120mm (attached to the rad)
Corsair AF140 Air Flow Case Fan 140mm (back, near the top)
[MOBO]: MSI Z77A-GF65 Gen3 Intel Z77 Socket 1155
[GPU]: Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2GB (i was given the advice to get an aftermarket GPU with a good cooler, is 3 fans too much? I want to overclock it to be on par with 680 stock)
[RAM]: Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB 1600MHz DDR3
[HDD #1]: Crucial 128GB SSD [HDD #2]: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green
[PSU]: Corsair HX750, + Corsair HX Series Modular Cable Kit (will i need extensions?)
[Monitors] x2 "21.5 LCD
So, as you can see, still some stuff i'm unsure with. Another thing that's made a huge change is the colors. Someone made me realise that with the money i'm already spending, i might aswel make a good looking rig.
Any feedback will be appreciated and responded to, thank you!
