Near-finalized Rig

So after putting up a thread on here not too long ago and listening to advice, looking at other sources for info and just streamlining things i've come down to what i think is a pretty solid list of parts for the rig.

Right now, the only thing i'm unsure of is the processor. I'm aware that it can run pretty hot and alot of people raise their eyebrows at me when i say "3770K".
Dealing with a game engine, doing 3D design aswel as heavily using the Adobe packages is the purpose here, i think 3770K is justified but i'm totally open to anyone giving me a good reason to drop it down (even though price wise, i don't see a huge jump).

So here's the list and i'd appreciate absolutely any feedback, i'm very open minded:

[CASE]: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Carbine Mid Tower Case

[CPU]: Intel Core i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770K (3.5GHz) 8MB Cache

[CPU COOLING]: Corsair H100 Hydro Series Extreme Performance

[FANS]: Corsair TWIN PACK AF120 Quiet Edition Case Fans 120mm (attached to the hard drive cage, someone suggested it to me)
Corsair TWIN PACK SP120 Quiet Edition Case Fans 120mm (attached to the rad)
Corsair AF140 Air Flow Case Fan 140mm (back, near the top)

[MOBO]: MSI Z77A-GF65 Gen3 Intel Z77 Socket 1155

[GPU]: Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2GB (i was given the advice to get an aftermarket GPU with a good cooler, is 3 fans too much? I want to overclock it to be on par with 680 stock)

[RAM]: Corsair Vengeance Blue 16GB 1600MHz DDR3

[HDD #1]: Crucial 128GB SSD [HDD #2]: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green

[PSU]: Corsair HX750, + Corsair HX Series Modular Cable Kit (will i need extensions?)

[Monitors] x2 "21.5 LCD

So, as you can see, still some stuff i'm unsure with. Another thing that's made a huge change is the colors. Someone made me realise that with the money i'm already spending, i might aswel make a good looking rig.

Any feedback will be appreciated and responded to, thank you!

Looks great to me, although you could probably drop the PSU down if you wished. I would probably leave it, as I think the extra headroom for the future is never a bad thing.

At first, i tried to find a 650W PSU that would be compatible with the Corsair upgrade kit but i gave up after a while. I mean, i'm still open to it if there is one, but i agree that headroom is good and i'd also only really do it if there was a real price distinction.

I'm surprised there isn't anything else you'd suggest putting on there.

Does anyone know of a device that i could plug a monitor, XBox and computer and be able to switch between inputs?

VGA switch or HDMI switch depending on what kind of input you're using, or just use a monitor with multiple inputs and it'll auto-detect whatever one is in use.

VGA!? No no no no no no no no no please no. I'd just use multiple inputs tbh if it works, if not i don't really know

Who exactly is raising their eyebrows? Ivy Bridge is just fine with temps until you push towards 5ghz. Infact up until the mid 4s it's cooler than Sandy. Given that IB is about 10% faster for the same clock you find that SB and IB are about equal but IB has more additional benfits. 3770K looks great for your build.

I'll have to think about it. The screens i'm looking at only have D-Sub and DVI-D input, so i'm not sure about that. I mean, there's nothing wrong with just using HDMI to DVI-D and swapping the cables around, it just seems like a hassle.

Thanks for all the help guys, much appreciated.

Can't say i'd enjoy having to root around at the back, switching cables all the time. There are plenty of monitors with both DVI and HDMI inputs, so try and look for one of them, perhaps?

You can run VGA out of the Xbox and convert it to DVI and use DVI straight out of the PC and run both of them into DVI switch then into your monitor but yeah, you'd be better off with a monitor that has 2 inputs and just let it auto-detect whichever one is in use.
