Planing to have XP, W7 and server OS on this. Got many old games i would like to play, and they need XP. @home i will use this as spare rigg and server, being able to swoop from the OS's.

I was about to buy a decent lap top, but i went for this instead. I can buy this rig and a great android for same ammount of money i would use for a lap top, so the decisssion was easy.

Spec list:

Intel 2500K

Asus Maximus Gene-Z m-ATX

Coolermaster silent pro 850W

8 GB corsair Vengeance

Noctua DH-14

Samsung F3 spinpoint 1TB

Corsair performance 128GB SSD

Silverstone TJ08-E chassis

Recieving parts tomorrow, but the chassis is delayed to end of month. Will put it in a x500 chassis for starters.

All parts are new except the Corsair SSD.

Modding plans: Smoked acrylic window in the door, carrying handles on top, sleeved cables and maybe some paint job.

Package arrived.

HDD brackets 3.5" to 5.25". Will come in handy when i remove the hdd rack in the TJ08-E

Hoping to recieve a package tomorrow. Yes lately its been busy, but it will settle soon. Just need this lan rig put togetter really fast, and then i can continue with main project(i disslike using my 6-7 year old lap top).

Think i will do the carrying handle and window in the door for starters. Maybe i bring the psu with me on christmas holliday and sleeve it there

What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

I work at a psychiatric hospital. My educations are: chef(10 years) and socialworker(3 years university). Had my university diploma january 2011, so i recently finnished that education.

The pc is ready for all the software installation. I will put a few more hdd's in it tomorrow, so there are a few wire's lose that i will tie down after i install more.

Want to know about programming, webdesign and company safety. Plan is to study and work at same time. Maybe in 2014 i will start with that.

That's cool. I am doing Computer Science at the moment and I'm learning a number of programming languages including Java, C#, Vb, PHP, HTML, etc. I'm working this year then going back to finish my Degree

Interesting :-)

Is it a five years degree or maybe 3?

4 years. 2 years uni, then 1 year paid placement, then final year. A placement (job) is not guaranteed and it depends on 1st year grades. I'm hopefully going to do a masters degree so it will be 5 years in total

Same as here if you take master degree. Whats your favourite thing to learn/work about within computer science?

I like any form of programming, but so far I've enjoyed PHP, C# and Java the most. There are some Networking and Artificial Intelligence aspects I enjoy quite a lot as well.

Really like the Lian Li case. This may sound odd, but the furniture looks great too....haha. Can't wait to see the final result after everything is up and running in the TJ08-E.

Maybe I should go to Norway for my education.
