My Slow Machine

looks very nice, and the black Drives in comparison to the silver front, i didnt think would work, but it actually contrasts very nicely :)

Some of the changes to be made.

1. Side Window

2. Change 2 3.5in covers to Mesh

3. Extra switches for UV lights and fan control

4. Internal mods for watercooling

5. Mod front fascia

6. Upgrade CPU

This will keep me going for a while.:wavey:

I still see the specs for that pc as a good gaming pc.

Thing is, u run a load of benchmarkers through it and it`ll come way-short of perhaps the mainstream intel builds.

But throw in some game installs and they`ll run very well.

*cough* posting on this thread from a 3800x2 build *cough*

May in a few weeks get another XFX GeForce 8800 GT Alpha Dog 512MB in a few weeks time, then back to SLI.

Very nice system! It was cool that me and you where rockin almost the same 939 setup. How much of an upgrade was that 6000+ from the 4200+ @ 2.8ghz?

The 6000+ is running at 3.12GHz at 52C on stock cooler. Not put the REVO back on yet, still playing around with rig.Not played many games with it,still want to mod the case abit. Must say it is very quick now, will have to see how fast it can burn a DVD. Ran 3D Mark yesterday score 32789 much better than the 4200+.

You need to cleanup the cables and get an Intel cause AMD sucks, but it still owns mine. :( Also, get the newer SLI connectors, they're nicer.

Over the next few weeks it will be cleaned up. Replace PSU with a modular one, case is being modded a touch. I prefer AMD for my rig its one of those things. Not seen the new SLI connectors.

Getting new PSU in next few days."Corsair HX 520W".Got a new SLI connector and some120mm fans for some cooling. Couple of temp monitors from Aqua-pcs arrived today, very fast delivery.:D:D
