My Slow Machine

Ever thought about getting some aftermarket coolers for your 8800GT's ? I had the eVGA "Superclocked" card and it was running on around 55 degrees idle and hitting a good 80-85 on load, with a 50% fan speed. Since then I slapped on the Thermaltake DuOrb, and it's brought my 8800GT to 32-35 degrees idle, and 43-45 degrees on load. As the DuOrb only has a molex connector, it has to run at maximum fan speed, but I have found that it's still quieter than the stock cooler. Definately worth the investment if you have the cash floating around.

Left the pc on while I did a bit of running around, gets in, checking post on here ok.Goes to make coffee come back lost wireless connection, checks router and bits, checks software runs ok but no IP.Resets router and pc still the same.Removed Wireless card and restalls once again still no IP address.Started to restall wireless software and DVD starts grinding noise, take disc out, puts back in no noise. All installs ok but still no IP address. So switched machines.

Wireless problem solved, nicked card from 2Cool to use. Got some new coolers for the XFX 8800's,some pics of rig inside.

Do I spy a couple of Akasa Vortexx Neo's? Excellent cooler, worked wonders on my old 7900 :)

Looking good atm matey.

Oooh. Very nice. Amazing the difference some quality cable routing can make to a case. My cathodes look like a candle in comparison.
