Update time again !


This morning i started modding the rad brackets for the roof.


Cuting them to the desired height.

Brackets taped down and holes traced.

So after cutting, hand filing, tracing, drilling and tapping here is the result.

Reassembled the brackets and rad, dropped it back on the case, centered it and marked off the mounting holes.

Case ready for drilling and tapping.

Once the task accomplished, the rad can now be screwed nice and secure to the case. Note that the radiator now only sticks out by 9mm. Lovely!

Putting the top bezel back in place.

UT60 in place, bezel back on, everything worked as planned ! Awwwwesome!

Next i have to make:

-the drive bay cover for mobo tray side, then paint the edges of all the covers and finally di-noc them.

-di-noc the radiator brackets.

-paint some screws

-determine where the res is going to be placed and screwed to the case

And there is also a new window mod on its way since the one i made lacks a bit of contrast imo !

Its slowed down at moment as i'm waiting on a few things to arrive.
I've ordered the ram but scan ran out of stock so i'm still waiting on those.

Ordered a set of PSU cables from Silverstone, waiting on them to arrive so i can begin sleeving them. Also need to get GPU's and then save up for watercooling.

Going to order some sleeving today so i can at least get the fans and power switches done

It's really horrible when it all slows down, i cant progress that fast either still waiting on cast-acrylic, paint, screws, di-noc and what not.

But the positive side about waiting is to have time to think out everything and organising your work properly.

Agreed, best to take your time and do right rather than rushing it

Deffo you should start modding asap, but be careful it's addicting!

And also make sure to make a log when you are in the starting-blocks !

Thank you man, i love them too but the bad news are they going to be di-noc'ed.

Well i'll take some pics once i started so we can compare white carbon fiber against silver !

It's time for a tiny update again !


The mail man showed up with my di-noc this morning. And of course i had to immediately start playing around with it

So i decided to give it a shot on one of the radiator brackets.

I also had a few comments in my log stating that the chrome brackets lock quite nice.
So here some pics comparing chrome to white di-noc.

It would be lovely if some of you could ge me a bit of feedback because i can't decide between those two.

Note that if i end up going di-noc, the nickeled screws will be replaced by black ones to add a nice contrast.

So stay chrome or go di-noc ?

Even if the brackets wont be visible anymore once the bezel is back in place, atleast i know it was done correctly and every little detail was figured out.
