gonna agree with Tripp dude. The next stage with those lovely specs would be to water cool the hell out of that thing

I do like the idea of watercooling but I like the look of the H80 and cooler on the 780 plus my temps are very good, My house is like an ice box even in summer :)

Maybe a new case then? Switch 810 or maybe get that new corsair cube when it's released?

Asus 4k monitor[on release] and another 780 may cure that itch of yours.

Then give yourself a pat on the back for having such a kick ass PC!

Don't like going multi GPU, Heat and driver problems aren't something I'm fond of.

I have figured out my next purchase though, The OCZ RevoDrive3 X2 240GB PCI-E SSD, 1500MB/s read and 1300MB/s Write, 230,000 IOPS 4k Random Write.

New toy incoming :D

Nice :)

I was gonna suggest a higher res IPS monitor.

I have tried higher res than 1080p, 2560x1440, But for some unknown reason if I look at it more than 10 minutes I get a rampaging headache, I know that sounds strange and I have no idea what causes this, Maybe something to do with refresh rate ?
All I know is that it's a pain in the butt :(

Hmmmm, that is strange. It could have just been the monitor or some other underlying issue like the refresh rate. I have no idea to be honest.

Let us know how this turns out would you? I was looking at one a while ago to use as a boot drive, but I was put off by the fact that they weren't yet mainstream so I didn't know if there were any problems or anything, and I'm probably just going to raid 0 for a boot drive now with some normal SATA III SSDs

It seems your upgrade itch is out of control. It's pretty damn bad when you need to ask what to upgrade.

Why not get one of these? I know it'll require a new motherboard, but hey... :p

I could not bring myself to spend that much on a CPU ^_^

OCZ.... This shall be interesting.

AFAIK the Revo drives are enterprise products, and the quality of enterprise and
consumer ranges can be vastly different even for the same vendor (as can the
quality of service/support).

Personally I've made this experience with Dell Laptops. Had my first one in 2004
(Precision M60 - business line), still runs perfectly (albeit slowly, of course). My family
has had several more Dell Laptops since, and while the consumer versions' quality
has been shaky (though by no means horrible), all of their business machines we've
had have been very well made and are still running even after many years of heavy
use (meaning they have travelled a lot and have seen many hours of run time).
Hence I have promised myself to only ever buy business line laptops if I can help it.

I have no experience with OZC, but this is just something that popped into my mind ;).

As for the monitor/headaches: Was the DPI of the high-res monitor much larger than
for your normal one (meaning were the fonts, icons etc. a lot smaller)? I have actually
had this issue with 1920x1200 laptop screens, and things being very small can be
quite strenuous for one's eyes.

i have a 240gb revodrive3 in my pc, been there coming up on a year now, no issues at all.....just remember to install the device when your installing windows on it lol
