My R4BE will be arriving this week!!!!

After much much much much patience on my part my R4BE will finally get here this week! Not going to lie I'm excited!

On launch day they had sold out Australia wide before I even knew they were on sale :-( And even now nearly two months later I haven't been able to find a single supplier that could even give me a rough eta..... zzzz.

But lucky for me! I have some good friends that live in Canada! So I procured one from Newegg got it sent to them and they've forwarded it on to me!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that only a dozen R4BE made it to Aus for release!

Whilst I've been waiting for Mobo I've also acquired some other goodies to give my beast an overhaul. Bitfenix Cable extentions, Primochill Rigid tubing, Asus Rog Raidr 240gb PCIe SSD.

The last two things I need to finally finish off the monster are the R4BE water blocks and a FC waterblock for my 280x (which is still in development.zzzzzzz. thats what I get for buying non-reference)

I'll update pics in the rig forum upon completion of the rebuild!

GGGAAAAHHHH!!! Excited to see how far I'm going to be able to push the OC on my 3930K with a true beast of a mobo!!!

EKWB also makes block for the black edition. Just not sure if they make upside down version for Australian market

Awesome! all my other blocks are XSPC! So I'll think I'll wait for it to start appearing, System just looks so much cleaner if you have matching blocks.

And yea I knew about the EKWB for the R4BE but hadn't seen it show up in stock at any of my local suppliers (Don't wanna push the friendship with my friends in Canada and be constantly asking them to send me stuff)

So I'm still waiting on my R4BE, I started to panic a little that its taking so long and well today I found out why.......

My friends that were sending it to me from Canada fucked up..... Despite me asking them to send it express they sent it surface aka its on a bloody ship in the middle of some bloody ocean. When I spoke to the postal service today they told me mail from Canada to Australia via surface can take 6-12 weeks.

I appreciate my friends forwarding it to me! but the whole point was so I could bypass the wait in Australia!

Gah! I even had my R4BE waterblocks show up yesterday which I bought because i was expecting the board to arrive any day now but I've been told I'll be lucky to have it by the end of feb :-(

It's just set back after set back with the upgrades for my rig!

But god I'll appreciate it when its finished.
