My overclock (help needed)

fixed it... just did a windows repair and it is all set... thanks.

ok well my overclock as of now is 2.8 with 1.475 volts and my ram is at 280 at 2.5-3-3-6 at 2t (can't get past 200mhz on 1t) and im testing 2.5-3-3-5 right now... and that is with 2.7 volts...

Not bad mate

You can loosen up to 3-4-4-8 on TCCD without to much of a detrimental effect

nope... im 99% sure it is on 2t cause it is greyed out in the bios with 2t.

so what do you suppose is holding me back from reaching 2.9-3.0??? the motherboard? and what is holding my ram back??? it is suppose to be able to reach 310 with 1t.... and when i try using 10 as my multiplier for the cpu, nothing works.. i tried 270 and 280 and 290 as fsb and it wont go....

just for the heck of it, i have put my cpu voltage at 1.65 and i know u shouldn't but my temps were low... and i still couldn't get 2.9 stable.... whats going on?

The chip's probably gone as far as it can

reply nothing, im sure it can go further if u push it, but i wouldnt, ur max oc is 2.9, if i were u id drop it to 2.8 and lower the vcore for a safe 24/7.

Aye that's about it - 2.9-3 is a very nice 3200+, they're rare

Well 2.8-3 is still a decent OC, even on a11x multi proc

Remember you are using a Biostar mATX mobo, NOT a DFI.

hehe i know... but i love it because it is micro... didn't u build crossflow around the dfi?

And that Biostar is a very good mobo but maybe a better chipset cooler may help.

it might but i can't find an option to up the voltage for that.. and i updated the bios btw...
