Yes but those scores are a double edged sword.

I don't understand how OCZ can be hypocritical. Firstly they say that AHCI is absolutely pointless on an SSD because an SSD does not work that way and then they say that it was only because of a Jmicron controller

If an SSD does not need AHCI because it offers nothing and can screw up the way the drive works then how can that change based on a controller? Unless of course they were just using that as an excuse because the Jmicrons are notoriously bad.

Well, that was a fun 1 1/2 hours spent installing windows 7, twice...

So I can confirm:

IDE = Freezes, about 70mb slower on benchmarks, 0.8 lower on WEI.

AHCI = Freezes

So I can confirm:

none of the Samsung software was installed for testing, I only installed Nvidia GFX driver, Intel RST driver and WLAN driver. Maybe a few Windows updates made it through.

Looks like its an RMA.
