Hi Cyclepath

Hi thanks for the feedback!:) Im still wishing id had mine anodised now like ures but theres always a next time! Yeah i was curious as to why you set yours up that way but now i understand. I could just buy the 2 blocks and put them together anyway it doesnt look too difficult or is it??? lol. :( Have you done any other mods on yours since? It looks great and the piano black just tops it all off! Catch ya later

I have an Innovatek Fan-o-Matic fan controller that Phil has anodised for me. Your Matrix Orbital looks real good though.

Watch this space

Hey guys, Ok so i couldnt resist so im gonna have my case anodised and water cool my sli 7800`s. So watch this space in a month or so hopefully it will be complete ;)

Im having a problem with a cpu monitor though as i need it to be aluminium! Any suggestions? As you can see i have the coolermaster muskateer which i love but it cant be anodised!! Id prefer something with an lcd screen or dials similar to before. Help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi

i dont psot much much, but wanted to say teh case is so damn sexy, and with the space you get, the watercooling set up looks so neat and tidy, i have a small Coolmaster case with water cooling built into it, and it looks so squashed compared to yours ><.

but anyway jsut wanted to say nice job.

Thanks

Hi Kamz,

Thanks appreciate the feedback ;) . It doesnt look like that anymore at the mo tho. I have sent my case off to phil to be anodised and i am going to water cool the 7800`s so when i get it back ill post more pics. Do you have pics of yours?

Cheers

good question i can get pics, but tomorrow i will be ripping it apart, as i will be buying a new set up (rad and pump from phil) for a new set up.

I will try and show you my first watercooling try which i think is ok, so i will try and get you shots. However beware my case is very tight and mgiht not look as neat as your sexy job :D

Kamz

Bah unofortunality i was unable to take shots of my set up as my freind has now taken the bits and bobs and i couldnt find my digital camera in time ><. However like i said i got a new rad and pump coming from phil soon as since im using the same case, and msot likely the tubing and rad, and pump will be in the same poisition ill get pics up asap when i have my new set up running.

More advice on cooling

:) Hey guys, really looking forward to seeing my case from phil!!!! Im looking into new 120mm fans for a push/pull config setup on my rad any advice? The acoustifans look excellant but too pricey!! What about the vantec stealths? Also with the water loop.. Is there any considerable difference if i had the water pumping into the rad first then onto the cpu etc...? As this would make the water at its coldest before hitting the cpu and gpus? Also thinking of changing the colour of the dye so what da ya think of orange? As in previous pics the cables are green and the case will now be extreme blue so what do you think of orange in there? Any advice etc would be gratefully recieved.

Cheers

It's worth researching whether or not Push/Pull is the way to set it up. In my instructions from Thermochill I read that Pull/Pull was actually the most effective! This basically means having a fan stacked on top of another, both in pull config...

It has actually been mentioned earlier today that it doesn't make a lot of difference in the order of the loop, now we have these nice pumps :)

A good idea is to order the components to allow for the shortest and tidiest run of tubing; I think that less angles can also help.

Orange could be interesting, perhaps give it a go. If you don;t like it you can always rinse it out and change it :D

I will soon be doing some fairly hefty experiments on fans, so we will see what the best really are... (I will keep updated in a thread soon :))

;)

Thanks stocky, i will look more into the push/pull or pull/pull as you suggested! As for the orange dye i think ill go for it and as you said i can change it, but i think it will be an interesting mixture of colours... yeah a thread about fans and pull/pull configs etc would be excellent! I think it would very useful.

Cheers again

Serious issues!!!

Ok i have bumped into some issues:( My happy xmas day is now not so happy! The asus a8n32 sli deluxe mobo and an audigy2 zs sound card (this is the goos part). The bad part is... well look at the pics....

http://img477.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sa7004740wy.jpg

The water blocks on the gpus are too close together!!! And there is no room for my sound card :( Anyway round any of this??? Ive been pulling my hair out for the past hour..... Dire need of some serious boozing at the moment! Any ideas ?

Cheers
