My first custom pc with mods

This was my first custom built pc with some mods. All cables were sleeved in UV blue. Case was modded with new acrylic, and many new holes for wires were made. All fans replaced. This rig had one of the first Phenom II 965BE 140w cpu's. This cpu died and i had it RTM and got the 1090T instead. The MT was the Asus M4A79T Deluxe, but it had 26 bios updates and were very unstable, so i replaced it to the Crosshair IV. The psu Chieftech 1200w (is in a closet right now) had problem when turning the thing on. Really a shame since i sleeved all the cables, but i think im gonna check it and try find out what is wrong. Maybe re-sleeve it with better quality sleeving. With the MB, and cpu problems i had i almost swore not to buy any ATI/AMD product again, but ive been really happy with the Thuban and the Crosshair mobo i got today. Totally stable even with a high o.c.

Hope you like it. I was very proud of this build :-)

Have a good weekend all.

That's alot of UV blue haha, nice specs though and tidy aswell

Ty. It sure was alot of UV, but i liked it.I removed the cathode in the bottom because it was to bright :-)

nice rig dude, what sleeving did you use?

I got a few kits here in Norway but i cant recall witch brand it was(think it was Ac Ryan). The cables shined trough so wasnt to happy about that. At the end of this sleeve process i ordered som sleeves from performancepc and they were kick ass product(Techflex).

likeing the blu emate

Ty.

IT BURNS! IT BURNS, OF GOOD GOD HOW MY EYES BURN!

It is a nice look but, you cannot stare at it for too long I bet XD Great rig mate, even though I think the amount of lighting in there would even put the sun itself to shame XD Not a bad thing, just....very bright

With the blue cathode in the button it was a bit bright. But after i removed it got mutch better. Could sit in a totaly dark room and it only glows from the uv effects.

i like very much! blue and tidy. what could be better?

Yeah thank you. Its alot of components in that chassis, and i had to make many modds for cables to get it so tidy. The back of the case is so stuffed with cables the sidedoor would hardely come on. Anyways, this an old build of mine, and i only use the gpu's, fan controller and parts from the 1200 now. :-)

*Thread Revive* Awesome rig mate! Imo the zalman cooler looks better in there with the LED off.

Thanks.

Its my first custom pc.Built in 2009 and finnished modded in start of 2010. The zalman cooler is ok with rest of theme but its a crap cooler. I bought it when i didnt knew mutch about cpu coolers

. The sleeving is of poor quality also and i think it was AC Ryan sleeving kit.
