Finally took the plunge and built my first pc. I am now officially addicted and sick with the bug that makes me want to constantly upgrade and add lol.

Case: 600t

Processor: Intel Core i7-3930K Sandy Bridge-E

Motherboard: MSI x79a-gd65

Ram: 16 gb corsair vengeance

GPU: gtx 580 hydro copper

Harddrive: 120 gb ssd

3 terrabyte 7200

and an old 72 gb 10,000 rpm rapter drive

extras: Watercooling on cpu and gpu. Lamptron touchscreen fan controller

I made a few errors but learned from my mistakes. I still need to get some extension cables to clean it up, so compression extenders, and of course another video card and monitor.

We need some inside shots of that PC. I have to say, to tackle watercooling on your first build is ballsy! Nice job.

Thanks everyone! Just updated with some more pics. Just ordered a 8 pin psu extension cable to route it around back. That cable annoys the hell out of me. Going to order some 45 degree extension compression fittings for the card and cpu. Might get an adapter for the pump so I can use compression fittings there. Also going to get a custom sleeved cable for the gtx 580. I have a sunstick led bar on the top for lighting. Wish I could dim it a bit.

Replaced the top 220 fan with 2 120 mm quieter gentle typhoons. The front 220 fan is very noisy. Need to find a quiet replacement so If anyone knows of a good 220 fan, let me know. It has to be only 20 mm thick otherwise it wont fit I think.

I also want to put back my exhaust fan where I mounted the koolance bracket to hold the rad. I need standard 120 mm fan screws that will go through the entire length of the fan. Anyone know what size screws I'm looking for?

I'm pretty new to overclocking as well so right now I have it running at 4 ghz by using the OC button on the motherboard. Once I learn a bit more Ill be a little more adventurous and see what kind of speed I can achieve.

For the front fan take a 200mm Xigmatek XLF (20mm thick) or just drill four holes and mov the HDD cage a centimeter to the back of the case !

Realy nice rig, great hardware, and a really nice look. Personaly im not a fan of external radiators but in this case it realy fits to the reat of the great looking rig.

Thanks. Waiting for my tax return for some upgrades. Brought a dremel tool to cut the metal grill out in the front. It causes the front fan to be extremely loud. Also going to add a 240 rad on top, another video card, and some 45 degree compression fittings. Was thinking about adding an led plug to the reservoir to light it up but I've heard many say that it isn't that bright. Any suggestions on how to light up the bay reservoir?

is there a reason why you wanna go with a 240red in the top instad of an 200red in the front ans put the drive cage in the stot in the middle of the floor?

Thats an idea. Would just have to find a place for the pump. Would that screw right into the 200 fan holes or would i have to mod a little?
