hello,

Im currently stuck in my building progress.

here is the part im sure to take ( Im trying to be around 1200-1300$ ):

i5 2500k

noctua nh-d14

caviar black 1tb

CM 690 II advanced

but I hesitate on the other part :

GPU: should I get an gtx 460, gtx 570 or gtx 460 2win ? ( ill be probably using ASUS VE247H )

motherboard : GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 , GA-P67A-UD4 and finally INTEL DP67BG Extreme. those have all good review so I dont wich to take.

ram : I hesitate between 4gb hyperX 1600 or 8gb mushkin frostbyte 1600

PSU : I have no clue on wich is good or not

thanks

I'd say that if you where willing to add a second 570 later then go for that. If you didn't want to add a second 570 later than two 460's will out perform a single 570. You could go with the 2win or you could go with two single cards unless you want to run more than one monitor which in that case I'd personally go with the 2win.

With the motherboards, the Z68's are improved versions of the H67 and P67 boards but if you don't know what those improvements are then check this out http://www.youtube.c...h?v=wIUVxF3R2-Y and then decide if there worth paying the extra money for over the P67 boards. Out of the two P67 boards you listed then the UD4 gets recommend more around here then the intel boards but on the over hand that glowing skull on the intel board is cool

Ram, well you only actually need 4GB for gaming and the makes are about as good as each other from what I've heard so just go with the one you thing would look best on your mobo but just make sure the hyper X memory isn't the one with the stupidly long heatsinks on them or it's not gona fit under the D14. There's two type's of hyper X memory from what I've seen. One with stupid heatsinks and one without.

PSU, Corsair AX 850 is what I'd personally go for for running two cards or the 2win as it'll give you about 150W more than you actually need which means the PSU should keep cool and quite.

Hope this helps

ok Ill check the video,

Ill probably go for 2 460 since its cheaper than 1 460 2win ( exept if 2win is better , Ill check this )

and the ax850 is 200$ , I think it will be more than 1300$

On one monitor mate the performance of the 2win and two separate graphics cards is about the same so go for the cheaper option.

The AX 850 is about the best in it's class and has a seven year warranty but I understand if it's more than you want to pay so if you look for a different PSU you want about 750 to 850 watts and four 6-pin graphics card power connectors. Also try not to get too cheap a PSU cus if it goes bang it could take everything it's plugged into down with it.

Ok here is the build ill probably take if there is not a better one for the same price :

i5 2500k

noctua nh-d14

GA-Z68X-UD4-B3

ax 850

gtx 570 or gtx460 2win ( 70$ more than 570 )

4gb hyperX 1600 ram

caviar black 1tb

CM 690 II advanced

Nice.

Have you decided if you're going for the black or white 690? Will you be adding any lighting kits or led fans?

isnt playing nice with my copying skilz lol but in reality the 570's will tear apart the 460

for the money I'd go 570's lol way better cost to performance ratio

ok Ill take 570 , anyway I think it will be enough since game im playing is aoc and couple other.

btw is there a difference between 40fps and 60fps ? ( since human eye can only see around 26fps )

If the AX is too expensive you could still go the TX or HX in the corsair range and still get a good psu the rest sounds ok.
