I will be replacing all the clear fans for sure, might not be LEDs as I will glow the case with white and red LEDs anyway.

It's a shame the PSU 24pin coloured cables are visible. I will get a 24pin braided extension in black, I could go for red but I think it will be too bright, just not sure.

Another thing I was thinking was to go watercooled on the CPU so I can have a tube reservoir in there with red liquid I better get on YouTube for some tutorials lol on how to install/setup a loop.

Also in terms of cost how much would I be looking at to watercool the CPU with a tube res? It doesn't have to be a performance setup that's branded its just purely for looks

Hello people.

Its been awhile but ive done a few changes to my rig.

I am getting the panel cut to fit some clear perspex glass so the guts can be seen

I have also replaced the Asus 7950 (ill tell you why in a sec) for 2 x 5850s which give me decent frame rates and is more than playable with the games a hardly play.

Anyway ill upload some pics and then continue to tell you about my progress and changes.

Now back to the graphics cards. The reason i have installed 2 x 5850s is so i can set up Eyefinity with 3 x 22" Samsung Monitors which only take VGA, i have connected them with VGA to DVI adaptors and the 3rd display using an active DP converter.

The 7950 does not accept more than 1 of these VGA to DVI adaptors. But i am happy with the 5850s they are really good on some of the games i have tested it with.

As i said before i dont really play games but the thought of having a 3 monitor eyefinity setup seemed cool. A friend of mine gave me these monitors for £30 each ! cant go wrong. And the resolution on these are 1680x1050

Yeah bargain Defo including the dell professional stands!

The 7950 I will use on another rig I am going to build with is a i7 3770k I'll put some videos up of my system and show oh what kind of frames I am getting.

Also collected a few more graphics cards which I got for cheap.
