Hey everyone this is my first post on OC3d.net im going to do my first build but want to make sure I get good parts and that everything is compatible and good quality this is what I am looking at getting I have done some research know I picked the right time with the hole p67 x58 going down lol, but I have decided to go with the x58 and this is what I am looking at getting, ow and the total price is the cheapest i could get the parts and keep in mind its in Australian dollars before you UK guys go bashing, because your dollar romps ours so naturally the price look more expensive,

Enermax Revolution85+1020W

Gigabyte G1-Sniper ATXMotherboard

OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD 2.5"

NZXT Phantom Case Black

Intel Core i7 980

Corsair Vengeance CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9 12GB(3x4GB) DDR3

MSI GeForce GTX 580 Lightning 772Mhz (sli)

Samsung SH-B123A 12X Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive

Total $3163.00

I haven't decided on cooling yet but I want to go air I have herd that you cant fit the

Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler on with the ram I have listed witch sucks because they are cheap and really good I hear maybe you could squeeze them in on my board? wish-full thinking much haha

any thoughts or suggestions would love to hear,

thanks

ide go SB or wait for ivy or bulldozer

no need for bluray unless ur on a 32'' watching films

Ivy and bulldozer probably wont be out till late this year or next year

don't like the look of sandy stuff that is out yet, I know alot of ppl dont like opticle,

but I do watch all my movies on my pc and I don't pirate dvd or games plus it cost less than 100 dollars hardly anything compared to anything else I have listed in the build, I am stubborn and definitely want to go with x58, thanks for the comment 'AMDFTW' anyone got any other suggestions for improving my build?

Ok thanks a lot for your comments I will have a good think about it sandy or x58 I have put together a build with the same video cards, ssd, psu, and case and the price has come out about the same the sandy being a bit under the x58 I now just have to choose..? I really like the x58 build I put together I could even squeeze some 1600mhz 1.5v gskill sniper ram in under the nuctua not that you could see much of the ram but would still match the board but yeah sandy is definitely something to think about thanks again ill keep scratching my head for a little bit.
