This is where I spend around 6 hours a day, almost everyday. :D

Left to Right
*Bottle of Drench, cos gaming is thirsty work :D
*Logitech LS21 Speakers
*Random Cup :(
*NDSiXL
*Cibox 22' 1680x1050 Monitor
*LS21 Control Box (headphone jack, Volume and Power buttons)
*320gb Portable HDD
*Plantronics Gamecom 380 Headset
*Casecom K5-9388 (Tower, with 2 vertical strips LEDs in blue, turned off cos they are a little bright)
*3 Mobile USB Broadband (the tiny little white thing on the case)
*Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 2000
*Sharkoon 1337 Gaming Mouse Mat (3mm thick)
*Bush 5 Button Laser Mouse

It looks like a scratch on the workspace of my desk, but i think its the shadow from the window (out of shot to the right) as my desk is scratch free.

My camera picks up all the little specs :( but notice the wear through point on my left click...... :)

Yea, the 5 point chair legs restrict how close I get to the desk (allbeit not by much) and have easily enough space to fit my size 9 slippers on the bottom shelf of the desk. (which i've just noticed hang off the edge slightly, but meh)

The bit you didn't see first off

Ive since decluttered the 'storage' underneath, but I have a lot of cr*p and nowhere to store it,
I would have my case under the left side but my case is too big for it and leaves me even less room.

When my youngest goes into full time school (this September) I see a project log on a custom desk being made, I have potential drawings done but need to do some background work on the type of materials to use....
Thinking on having one side of my desk on a hinge system giving access to the components (will no longer need a case) using a perspex top or glass top.....

That's theory, I don't make plans, as these never work.....

....yea that old plans of doing a custom build desk are now long forgotten, but I have started to rebuild and adjust a 17yr old desk.

Not a great deal will change from the constructions, only the right leg unit width being shortened to a 25cm width which will house the tower, the removal of the keyboard tray, overall desk depth shortened to 60cm and a fresh paint job and gloss.

I have already started on the cutting, and all that needs doing is sanding everything, painting and rebuilding. Limited to time to work on it so can only do the odd hours while kids are in school. Should also be noted that no power tools have been used.

Pictures coming soon

Ok, finally got everything cut, sanded, painted and gloss varnished.

Takes a bit of getting used to but I have sooooo much more space as well as enough leg room for my soon to be purchased racing wheel :D

This as is, is ideal for a triple monitor setup if/when I feel the need.

Complete with a can of Strongbow Dark Fruit :D

I used 2 'L' Brackets to form a 'U' and used double sided tape to form cable management hoops to hide all the mains leads etc.... Think i turned out quite well :)

Nah it aint bad, especially for a 17yr old thing that was chipped and dented to hell. It has been a storage point for the last 15 years, and as a result had ring marks all over it.

I shortened the right side support to a 250mm gap, which now leaves even more space for my chair, the case has a 400mm space on the left side to allow the case to breathe
