Thks guys my daughters now soldered her first proper project with no harm done - it was a radio and shes all so now working on a LED sign for her bedroom. Shes been taking the robot arm into school and they been teaching the kids all about different types of robots and how they work (thumbs up).
Ive ordered her a Project from USA that is a sensing driven robot that takes basic programming to get it to work. this will be her next step. Again its not to complex but will teach her very basic electronics and programming. we can see how she fairs at that. I personly dont thinks shes going to fully understand it but ill try and teach ehr what i know and see how its goes.
I had to sit down with her yesterday to do her first ever bit home work and tbh i dont know what the schools upto but id expected her to know the difference between d and b and wich way around a 5 and s go. she couldn't do any of it until i sat with her to 20 min and showed her. Im off to her school tomorrow after noon once i get back from uni to have a word with there head as im not happy at all.
Really impressed with the RC cars, they are so much fun to play with.
