I really need to pick this up, rather enjoyed the first one. I know the game received a lot of criticism, but it does look beautiful. The corridors in the beginning of your video reminded me of RTCW.

I've not played Wolfenstein.

I've some crazy fun shooters called Necrovision and Jericho is good, there's demos on steam and they're cheap

This is nothing like the first game. More like Corridor of Duty.

It's a good game, multiplayer is also good, just once BF3 came out I sort of stopped playing it

It is shocking how different C2 is to C1 and overall C2 deserves its place as the best game in the world, alongside C1, and PACMAN!! Some faith in C2 and you will love it alot. There's mods for it!

I've played Crysis 1 and it is a good game. Not tried Crysis 2 yet, but will do soon

Crysis2 was pretty much my 1st sample of pc gaming, and i just thought "well, this is like console gaming" which i know now would have PC gamers hanging themsleves with their keyboard cables. and it wasnt till i played the 1st ones i realised what we should have have got didnt happen.

"Corridoor of Duty" sums it up nicely

My logical view is Crysis 1 is dominatingly enjoyable today, with BF3 etc around, and Crysis 2 offers the different FPS gamestyle, so we can enjoy 1 & 2's offerings, so crysis 1 isn't left to rust, which is normal because it's so good and has been improved alot, much attention goes into these 2 games it's be sad to replace the 1st and kinda dumb

Some Crysis 2 mods allow physics from Crysis 1 like breakable trees & destruction

Have you played the original Far Cry?

Crysis was hardly any different tbh. Well, it had more annoying stupid alien bits in it.

Warhead for me has been the best of the bunch.

I love the first two Crysis games, they were open ended and you could explore the island and take different routes and use different ways of taking out the enemies. Crysis 2 is a good game but the gameplay compared to the first two was no where near as good. They ruined the suit controls, being able to flick between them using the mouse was quick, easy and felt more natural. Using the keyboard for the suit in 2 just didn't feel right to me they should have stuck to the mouse. Crysis 2 was also a lot more linear and restrictive I would have liked it better if the city was free roaming and not just a linear path. The aliens were completely different to the ones on the Island as well and they didn't seem to work as good as the original ones did.

The story in 2 annoyed me as well, at the end of Crysis Nomad, Prophet, Psycho and that CIA women were headed back to the Island and that is where they should have continued the story from. But instead at the beginning of 2 it's 3 years later, we find out Prophet is infected by this virus and there is no mention of Nomad and Psycho or what happened to them or what happened after they went back to the Island.

Crysis 2 was a good game but not what I expected and it wasn't as good as the first two in my opinion.
