So you are saying that might have been the whole problem? That just one of the RAM-blocks was placed wrong?
yep pretty much

Seriously, are you going to switch the ram into the right slot or not?! Do it and get back to us.
only thing i can really suggest is to clear BIOS :/
S3 is a sleep state that puts the computer into sleep mode no idea why it would be doing it if you haven't set it to do so though
Turn your PC off and then press and hold the "clr CMOS" button on the back panel under the 2 PS2 ports for 3 seconds then reboot.
that should do it if not
remove the power lead from the PSU and then press the power button to make sure all the power is gone and remove the big watch battery on the motherboard for 10 minutes then plug everything back in and power the pc on
Oh. Hope everything works out for ya.
How much money are you working with? When you placed the CPU, did you use any pressure? Because you shouldn't and it should drop into place?
Where do you buy from usually in Denmark?
I bought all parts for my computer from different danish websites, I just assumed the price was about the same everywhere.
sites like
http://www.computersalg.dk/
http://www.elgiganten.dk/
But you don't have to think to much about it, it was just if you knew a card from the top of your head, I'll figure it out myself.
This might possibly be my last reply, so thanks for all your help and all your time![]()
