My 8800gt

I am just writing to say how amazed I am at how this card performs. I got it yonks ago and its still able to play most new games still at a high level - can probably be overclocked more too!

Getting a passive cooler for it though (accelero) - its damn noisy

Anyone else still rockin "old" cards?

well yes..i brought this up as im hovering over th buy button for an accelero s1 v2 cooler + turbo module fans :yumyum:

Still running dual 7800GTX's from time to time, i got them around release.

Lovin my 8800GTX tbh. got it from the states (Frag) for about £200 I recall. Bloomin' bargain.

One of the best looking, but far too loud, coolers tbh.

Far too loud is an understatement.

Great card, would be interested in ur log on replacing the cooler. Just not sure about offloading cash on it tbh.

Anyway an original hr-03 can be adapted ???!

got 2 x 800gt's and 2 x 8800gtx's...dont kn which ones to run...we'll see, but thats all you needfor running most games at a tidy res and specs.

still damn fine cards...

well i installed it

took longer than i expected but not too hard, just quite a bit of tidying up

well

i used to fold @ load about 80c - 90c with the stock screaming away

its now currently

silent and @ 50c on load :yumyum:

all for £25 on scan (with the extra turbo fans too)

recommended!
