It looks like MSI is going to release a water cooled GTX 1080 Sea Hawk EK GPU, which will come with a custom made EK water block.

I want the Gaming X card for my Caselabs X2M build. I think I prefer the plain block vs all the dragon ornamentation. Have to see what the price is when released

If the price is right, this is something really awesome... i dont mind pay a bit more but they should take in consideration they are removing the fan cooling so the price should lower, and then add the remain price to the water cooler block.

The only reason why it looks nice is cause it's a EK if this was done in house bye MSI it would be awful looking. They would have put even more dragons on it :lol:

Chuck it into a Predator or Fractal S36 loop and you're done.
Yeah I do wonder what the price will be like, considering they're losing the fan shroud and all the rgb rubbish. The block would be around 150 here I think so will probably still be a little more expensive than standard.

Nice to see them moving away from the AIO cooler attachments to proper blocks. Although I still think more options is a good thing. Reference/Custom Air/AIO/Custom Loop options straight out of the box. Nice work.

Sorry but seeing half the dragon looks silly

and its just the reference block slapped on so most likely cheaper to buy the card and block separately and put them together yourself.

Yeah, meant the entire thing. I can see why some people would like it this way, but I guess I prefer a more classical design.
