MSI "Power" editions

Hi all,

about to purchase a MSI 660ti power edition card, just wondering if anyone could give me peace of mind about the recent (what I presume) was fear mongering about some versions of the MSI cards. I chose the MSI card because its got the nicest looking cooler (combined with my blue vengeance and Z77A G45 board)

You mean the whole MSI caught overvolting the cards?

I wouldn't worry about it - half this forum overvolt our cards but we don't get a 3-year warranty for doing it ourselves.

If it breaks within 3 years then RMA it, if it doesn't then you'll probably want to upgrade anyway...

To be honest I doubt you'll have any problems.

As I understand it Nvidia is volt locking the cards as a result of MSI doing this which I think is a shame, more power to AMD.
