Hello,
Thinking that MSI is one of the leaders in motherboard and graphic cards manufacturers, I have ordered myself a nice MSI N9500GT MD512 DDR3 graphic card. The graphic card itself is very well made, great performance, has DVI and HDMI outputs, nice cooling, but the noise it produces is simply unbearable! One cannot stay in the room for more than like 10 minutes with that noise. I've tried more than one model and it simply the way it works, not a defect or something. I wrote to MSI, but they just pointed me to their software Dual Core something.. to lower the fan speed, but that did not worked. I installed it fine and it shows the temperature and everything, but the option to lower the fan is just grayed out and cannot be changed. I have tried with different versions of their software and nothing has worked. Then I searched around and I've read about the RivaTuner software modified by Guru3D. I have installed it and did everything according to the manual, but the lowering of the fan didn't worked for me also.
Please does anybody have a solution to this problem, the noise is just unbelievable!
