I've recently changed from my i7 2600k (Donated it to the GF's PC!) to a 3770k.
With my 2600k which was on a ASRock motherboard I used the offset method of overclocking and wanted to do the same with my 3770k which is on a MSI z77 MPower.
Anyway, all Ive done is increase the core ratio limit to 44 - following M&Ps guide, which works fine - except the CPU Speed/Multiplier doesn't under clock,
for a split second it may underclock down to 3.4 or 2.2 (we are talking a split second though) but for the most part is a constant 44 and I'm not sure why...
With my 2600k Power settings would cause this, however I've already changed these to no effect.
Any pointers?
