Man, SLI looks appalling to my eyes. Either it's completely overkill unless you're at 4K—and even then it's sometimes not necessary (Tomb Raider)—or it doesn't work at all and in fact hinders your performance.

Could we get the power draw for a locked / adaptive sync'd 60fps at 1080p / 1440p ?

Since 1080p is SO easy for these cards, It'd be interesting to know what watts you need to maintain solid 60fps performance (and the heat that generates).

I maintain 60fps in almost all titles (excluding Ark), at 90 watt per card and top out at 70c

Nice review. Do you think the High bandwidth SLI bridges would be any benefit? Maybe only for the high frame rate 1440p or 4K setups but I imagine they'll cost a bomb so would be interesting to see if they make any real world differences.

I was considering another 1080 in September for my birthday now I'm having second thoughts. I hope they sort this dx12 sli issue soon

The performance of these is amazing. I was considering a second 1080 rather soon using it for 4k Gaming, now I'm not so sure. I think one may be all the performance I rally need.

As we already know the 1070 SLI review is coming and with that there will be graphs comparing the 980Ti SLI scores so it's pretty much a Vs review, you just have to do the maths yourself.

pretty sure its just stress testing, not VR related.

There is VRMark but at the moment it is just a Technical preview and not an official working bench.
