Hi guys i got the msi gtx 670 pe oc version for like 2 months and i am kinda disapointed cause i cant OC it more tha 70Mhz :(

is it an epic fail core or my mobo can not support higher ocing?

sugestions are welcome !

It is pre-overclocked to 1019 - (or 1097, not too sure what that really means)

So your 70mhz overclock still puts it to around 1.1ghz/1.15ghz.

I'm in a similar boat with my KFA2 670, except my results are even worse than yours. I'm putting mine down to the core tbh.

What software are you using to stress and overclock?

i don't think your motherboards has anything to do with it. The OC version already comes with an overclock obviously, so it probably won't go much higher than that.

70mhz is expected. It's already o/cd and it's not like the card has worthwhile extra features over reference to help with overclocking. For comparison my 680 lightnings will only o/c by 60mhz(core) without jumping through hoops to over-volt them.

could be your abilities too, wont be the motherboard though.
what u mean by that tom ? :/

i used msi afterburner and presision x by evga, for stresing i used msi kombactor/3d mark vantage and 3d mark 11

So should i be happy with that OC?
