Will it be a better choice to invest more money in my motherboard and buy a gaming motherboard which has better sound card than the normal msi I board or should I buy a standard MSI B85M-E45 and invest in a sound card?

gaming board msi b85 g43
choices Creative - Sound Blaster 5.1 VX or Creative - Sound Blaster Audigy

Don't buy the creative soundcards they are not worth the money get a lower end Asus card much better quality or if you are just going to game and watch movies with a little bit of music just go with a better board the g43 should be alright

Will only use it for gaming and music and movies but my current onboard audio isn't cutting it for me because I can't hear the difference from near and far sound just when its left or right and front or far.

Speakers: Labtec ARENA 685.
Will the Msi B85 g43 give any better result?

The only Creative card(s) that I really liked are the X-Fi range. I purchased a Recon3d a couple of years ago and it was worse than my mid 2000 X-Fi card.

Understood so Ill rather put the msi in my build rather than waste money on a sound card + I get the Ethernet thing that msi include on there gaming boards

Just go for the cheapest option mate, whether that is a budget motherboard with a simple sound card like the Xonar DGX or a gaming grade motherboard.

Although I do remember something about the budget for your build being £500-ish? In that case it might be best to use the cheaper motherboard for now and then buy the best CPU + GPU (and RAM, possibly an SSD) that you can afford.
A sound card is an easy upgrade later down the road and this gives you some time to get a better build now and then save up to upgrade less important things later.

I'm happy with my build i5 4460, gtx 750ti and 8gb ram but i understand.

The supplier gave a discount and the build is about R500 (34.50 euros) less and i thought i could spend it on something because i can't spend it on a ssd, gpu or cpu and my next upgrade is a better cpu cooler.

The in balance sound cards are Baobab 6ch 5.1 PCI Sound Card, Creative - Sound Blaster 5.1 VX or Creative - Sound Blaster Audigy from the supplier (http://essentialit.co.za/134-sound-cards)

That's why I want to spend it on either a better motherboard or card. But thanks for your advice and would consider keeping the money for better use

Go with the better board and save up for a sound card later and if you can't get one where you are then bring it in from elsewhere
